Growing up in Alaska, I spent much of my formative years in the serene grandeur of the subarctic wilderness. This solitary and awe inspiring experience has left me with a passion for nature and an awareness of the infinite in our surroundings. My work seeks to blend the organic patterns and symmetry that I admire in our natural world, with sounds and techniques that embrace our human technologies and sensibilities. We live in a golden age of technology, with the power for individuals to create almost anything they can imagine. My work both embraces and resists these frontiers.
